Inconceivable

Reactor, Cluj, Romania, July 2020

Divided into five short sections, each named for a stage of Elisabeth Kübler-Ross’s grief cycle, Inconceivable examined the disorientation of making theatre in the midst of the global COVID-19 pandemic. As we can never replace a human being, so we cannot replace the power and necessity of being in the same room together. Being together in the flesh is a prerequisite for theater, and if Inconceivable is about anything, it is about that.
